Days, that is.

I can't even believe that three months ago the universe decided that I would never sleep again. First of all, who needs sleep? Secondly, I can't WAIT until John is a snotty teenager that I can WAKE UP EVERY THREE HOURS OH MY GOD REVENGE WILL BE SWEET.

We had ourselves a little photo shoot today in honor of His Highness turning three months old. It was very fun. Of course, it is all fun and games until someone gets pee in their eye. Really, I had no idea what I was signing up for- sleep deprivation, the regular elimination of various bodily fluids all over the five pieces of clothing that I manage to squeeze into, and the scritch-scratching of teeny yet razor sharp baby fingernails all over my face at around 3 a.m. EVERY MORNING.

I'd do it again. I mean, I knew I was a masochist. Parenthood just illustrates the point.

Here's to a million more days, buddy. Now go to sleep dammit.

I have to admit, there is a teeny, tiny evil part of me that enjoys waking the teenagers. Repeatedly. Do keep looking forward to it-it's worth it!

Have you walked into any walls yet?

Lynne - ha! I have a friend whose husband woke up in the middle of the night to find her HOLDING UP the wall. She wouldn't go back to bed until he stood next to her, back and arms against the wall, to take over. I guess every mother on earth gets an instant appreciation of why sleep deprivation is a great torture tool.

I haven't walked into any walls yet, but now that you mention it, I could knock myself unconscious and thereby get some rest.

It's a BRILLIANT plan.

Kelly -

As for the pics and email pics - keep them coming! He's wonderful, but of course you already know that.
